About The DeTurk Round Barn
The DeTurk Round Barn was originally built in 1891 by wealthy vintner Isaac DeTurk as a stable for his prize-winning horse. In 2011, the City of Santa Rosa completed renovation of the facility preserving the spirit of the 1890 structure while bringing it into the 21st century. It is included in the National Register of Historic Places and is listed on the California Register of Historical Resources as a local historic landmark. It is one of only two completely round structures in California and is one of the last examples of its type of architecture in California and quite probably in the western United States.
The DeTurk Round Barn includes 7,500 square feet of open banquet and meeting space. Both main floor and second floor mezzanine are complete with a stunning hardwood floor constructed entirely from recycled shipping crates, a catering kitchen, restrooms, two gorgeous redwood constructed bars, and storage space. Other modernizing features include a 24-foot-diameter ceiling fan, radiant floor heating, a high-tech audio-visual system, unique lighting, flat-screen televisions and an elevator. The DeTurk Round Barn's is the perfect space for your next event.
